Forensic UltraDock is WiebeTech's premium Forensic Dock. With five ports on the host side, native PATA and SATA drive connections, two power options, a recessed on/off switch guard, 8 status LEDs in a strong and rugged aluminum enclosure, Forensic UltraDock is the leading forensic field imager.

Write-blocked access through eSATA, USB or FireWire
Now WiebeTech's proprietary write-blocked technology offers easy read-only access to suspect hard drives through eSATA as well as USB and FireWire 800/400 for maximum versatility. Download and image contents of a suspect drive without risk of data being written back to the drive. And it's fully compatible with forensic acquisition and analysis software.

HPA/DCO detection included
Various software applications exist which allow a user to create or modify a Host Protected Area (HPA) or Device Configuration Overlay (DCO) table on a hard drive.

Even more LED indicators to monitor data transfer, including write-block feature
An LED indicator assures you that write-block technology is active and protecting the data. Generation 4 is loaded with other indicators: FireWire attached, USB attached, +12V input jack active, disk drive power input jack active and +5V/+12V output active.

Easy to use!
Snap the suspect IDE drive into the Dock, plug in power and attach a cable to a host computer. Then download and image the entire contents to your computer. That's all it takes. The drive connector allows for automatic alignment and easy insertion. For more protection to the drive, a mounting plate can be screwed onto the bottom of the drive to protect the drive's circuitry.

One Dock to Connect Them All
On the host side, you've got quad connectivity. Connect to your computer via FireWire 800 (two ports), FireWire 400, USB2, or eSATA.

On the drive side, natively connect to 3.5" IDE/PATA drives, or 2.5"/3.5" SATA drives - no adapters necessary for these common drives.

If you need to connect to other types of drives - such as more rare 1.8" drives - Forensic UltraDock works with our line of v4 Combo Adapters.  UltraDock the easiest and most robust way to connect to any spinning drive.


Gobs of utility 
Generation 4 provides plenty of options. Power it via a +12V adapter (included), or power it via a standard disk drive 4-pin computer power supply, if it's more handy. 

Exclusive LED indicators 

Generation 4 is loaded with indicators: Write-Block active, FireWire attached, USB attached, +12V input jack active, disk drive power input jack active and +5V/+12V out operational. It makes a technician's work much easier. These simple features are immensely valuable when troubleshooting a drive. It even has an on/off switch for safe drive power up and power down.

Grab it and go - Generation 4 is tough as nails and built to last. The small and rugged case is built from aluminum for durability. 

Extend support for nearly any spinning drive
Need to access a non-standard drive? Use one of WiebeTech's own Combo Adapters to access 1.8" drives, notebook drives, drives found in iPods... almost any spinning disk. Combo Adapters work with several of our DriveDocks, including Forensic UltraDock.

4 pin "molex connectors" are well known for being a bear to unplug. Save yourself from hurt fingers and torn up fingernails with mrTool. This custom made aluminum device is perfectly suited for the task.

mrTool is sold seperately as a great companion for use with Forensic UltraDock. 

Chain of Evidence
Forensic UltraDock is only write-blocked, and it is always write-blocked. All ports (eSATA, FireWire, and USB) are 100% write-blocked. For an added level of confidence, our write-blocking technology also has an LED - so you know with a quick look that there's no chance of writing anything to the drive.
