ToughTech Secure Q Features
ToughTech Secure Q boasts improved passive cooling, a Kensington Lock, host connection LEDs, and a vertical stand. It includes very strong AES 128bit or 256bit Hardware-Based encryption.
Shock absorbers for your hard drive
 ToughTech introduces FlexMount Anti-Shock Protection. FlexMount is a shock absorber that mounts between the drive and the enclosure, reducing the amount of bumps and vibrations that make it to your hard drive.
Accepts SATA drives
SATA drives are standard today. They're fast, and they work natively with the fast Oxford 934 chipset found in ToughTech Secure Q. This chipset ensures you the fastest FireWire, USB, and eSATA speeds available.
ToughTech is cool
ToughTech has an all aluminum design meant to draw heat away from the hard drive. The entire product acts like a heat dissipater, helping to keep your drive cool. And because it doesn't need a fan, ToughTech is quiet.
Connects to almost any Computer
With quadruple connectivity, you'll be able to hook it to practically any computer out there. ToughTech Secure Q provides dual FireWire 800 ports (backwards compatible to FireWire 400), a USB 2.0 port, and an eSATA port. As a result, you can connect it to any computer running any recent operating system.

ToughTech Secure Q is bootable in FireWire/USB/eSATA mode on any computer that supports this feature. You can even boot from an encrypted volume.
Plug and Play
ToughTech works out of the box with no new drivers needed. Additional FireWire devices can be daisy-chained through ToughTech. |
