There's a left and right capacitive sensor, plus a track ball with a pressure sensor and side squeeze sensors.
The Apple Mighty Mouse is a special optical mouse because there aren't the clickable buttons you find on most wired mouse models. Instead, the mouse detects which side of the topshell is being touched, plus it allows you to scroll pages in every direction.
Compatible with the Mac OS X operating system, the Apple Mighty Mouse MB112ZM/B can even be set to launch applications or trigger Mac features. But you can also use it with other operating systems such as Windows 2000 or XP, with which it will behave as a four-button mouse with a vertical and horizontal scroll wheel.
